Equest Gel

Equest has a unique way the key ingredient, moxidectin, works ensures Equest is the only horse wormer licensed to control all stages of encysted small redworm in a single dose. Equest will not worm your horse against tapeworm infestation. Equest can be safely used on foals over four months and pregnant mares. Equest is also a more economical worming product for your horse as it has a 13 week active duration. Equest also remains in the horses system for a further 2 weeks after treatment; thereby, reducing the horses risk of re-infection and pasture contamination. Equest also has a lower toxicity to dung dwelling insects than the ivermectin based wormers, this again reduces pasture contamination as these insects help clear the pastures of dung.

Equest is administered as a gel from a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth.

Equest Pramox Gel

Equest Pramox contains moxidectin, the same active ingredient as Equest, and praziquantel for the control of tapeworm. Equest Pramox is a palatable gel which controls roundworms, bots and tapeworm in a single dose. Equest Pramox is also the only combination wormer to control all stages of encysted small redworm larvae; larvae that burrow into, and emerge from your horse's gut wall: the harmful and potentially fatal stages of the most common parasite to affect your horse today. Equest Pramox cannot be given to foals under six months, pregnant or lactating mares.

Equest Pramox is administered as a gel from a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth.

Each syringe of Equimax is uniquely designed for ease of use and will treat up to 700 Kg bodyweight. As it only requires one dose of Equimax to control tapeworms double dosing is a thing of the past thus making tapeworm control more cost effective and user friendly.

Equimax can be administered as a gel from a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth or from the hand in treat form.

Eqvalan Paste

Eqvalan has the naturally derived ivermectin as its active ingredient. There is no known resistance to ivermectin even though over 200 million doses have been used since it was launched. Eqvalan kills more types of worms than any other wormer including large redworms, small redworms, pinworms, large roundworms, threadworms, hairworms and many other parasites including bots. Its weakness is that it is ineffective against tapeworms. Eqvalan comes in syringe form and 1 syringe will treat up to 600KG bodyweight. Foals should be treated initially with Eqvalan at 6 to 8 weeks of age and then every 8 weeks until they are 18 months old. Older horses should be treated with Eqvalan every 8 to 10 weeks.

Eqvalan is administered as a paste from a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth.
