Eqvalan kills more types of worms than any other wormer, including Large Redworms, Small Redworms, Pinworms, Threadworms, Hairworms, Large Roundworms and other parasites including Bots. One syringe of Eqvalan horse wormer will treat a 600 Kg horse. All horses in a yard or grazing together should be included in a regular worming programme and wormed at the same time. Eqvalan is safe for use on foals. Foals should be treated initially at 6-8 weeks of age and then every 8 weeks until they are 18 months old. Where Large Roundworm is a problem the foal may be treated every 6 weeks. Routinely horse over 18 months are wormed every 8 to 10 weeks with Eqvalan wormers. Eqvalan Horse Wormer is also licensed for use in donkeys.
