Equest Wormer
Equest wormer will take care of the small redworm found in your equine
which will be encysted larvae. These may not show up on an egg count, so the
level of infection within your horse can be difficult to assess. In
Equest the
unique way the key ingredient, moxidectin, works ensures
Equest is the only horse
wormer licensed to control all stages of encysted small redworm in a
single dose. Equest will not worm your horse against tapeworm
infestation. Equest can be safely used on foals over four months
and pregnant mares. Equest is also a more economical worming product
for your horse as it has a 13 week active duration.
Equest also remains in the
horses system for a further 2 weeks after treatment; thereby, reducing
the horses risk of re-infection and pasture contamination.
Equest also has a lower
toxicity to dung dwelling insects than the ivermectin based wormers,
this again reduces pasture contamination as these insects help clear
the pastures of dung.
Equest is
administered as a gel from a plastic syringe, directly into the horses
mouth.

Equest Pramox Wormer
Equest Pramox contains moxidectin, the
same active ingredient as Equest, and praziquantel for the
control of tapeworm. Equest Pramox is a palatable gel which
controls roundworms, bots and tapeworm in a single dose. Equest
Pramox is also
the only combination wormer to control all stages of encysted small redworm larvae; larvae that burrow into, and emerge from your horse's
gut wall: the harmful and potentially fatal stages of the most common
parasite to affect your horse today. Equest Pramox cannot be
given to foals under six months, pregnant or lactating mares.
Equest Pramox is administered as a gel
from a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth.

Equimax Wormers
Equimax contains ivermectin for routine
worm control and praziquantel one of the most effective tapeworm
treatments. Ideally Equimax should be used at the beginning and
the end of the grazing season to provide maximum control against
roundworms, tapeworms and bots in the spring and autumn ensuring your
horse starts and ends the year as free as possible from worm
infection.
Each syringe of Equimax Wormer is uniquely designed for ease of use and will treat up to
700 Kg bodyweight. As it only requires one dose of Equimax to
control tapeworms double dosing is a thing of the past thus making
tapeworm control more cost effective and user friendly.
Equimax can be administered as a gel from
a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth or from the hand in
treat form.

Eqvalan Wormer
Eqvalan has the naturally derived
ivermectin as its active ingredient. There is no known resistance to
ivermectin even though over 200 million doses have been used since it
was launched. Eqvalan kills more types of worms than any other
wormer including large redworms, small redworms, pinworms, large
roundworms, threadworms, hairworms and many other parasites including
bots. Eqvalan is ineffective against tapeworms.
Eqvalan
comes in syringe form and 1 syringe will treat up to 600KG bodyweight.
Foals should be treated initially at 6 to 8 weeks of age and then
every 8 weeks until they are 18 months old. Older horses should be
treated every 8 to 10 weeks.
Eqvalan is administered as a paste from a
plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth.

Strongid P Wormer
Strongid P comes as an oral paste. The
active ingredient is pyrantel embonate making Strongid P highly
effective against gut dwelling roundworms. A double dose of
Strongid P will also
provide effective tapeworm control (tapeworm treatment is best in the
spring and autumn) Strongid P will also treat benzimidazole
resistant strains of small redworms.
Strongid P is administered as a paste
from a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth or in granule
form.

Eraquell Wormer
Eraquell is the sister product to Equimax,
containing the active ingredient ivermectin which kills more
roundworms and bots than any other worming ingredient including large
redworms. Eraquell is effective against small redworms,
pinworms, large roundworms, threadworms and hairworms. Eraquell
plays an important part in your strategic worming programme, providing
unsurpassed control of worms during summer grazing.
Eraquell is an oral syringe with a specially designed short
body to suit even the smallest of hands. Dosage intervals are 8 to 10
weeks and each syringe Eraquell now treats up to 700kg. Each syringe is marked
in weight divisions making for easier, accurate dosing.
Eraquell is administered as a paste from
a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth or from the hand in
treat form.

Equitape Wormer
Equitape is used for the specific single
dose control of tapeworms. It is estimated that tapeworm infection in
horses is increasing. As many as 2 out of 3 horses may be infected by
tapeworms. Praziquantel (the active ingredient in Equitape) has
been used for many years to control tapeworms in cats, dogs and even
humans. Equitape is an easy to administer, paste formula which
will easily fit in to your existing worming programme.
Equitape is administered as a paste from
a plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth.

Panacur Wormers
Panacur worming paste comes in an easy to
use syringe which will treat up to 600Kg bodyweight. Panacur is flavoured
with apple and cinnamon and is effective against non resistant large
and small redworms, redworm eggs and pinworms.
Panacur 5 day Equine Guard
Panacur 5 day Equine Guard course easily administered by mixing
with your horses daily feed. It is effective against all stages of non
resistant small redworms (including encysted larvae), large redworms
and pinworms. It is recommended that Panacur Equine Guard is used in late
October/November and again in February to combat the mass emergence
of encysted mucosal small red worm.
Panacur is administered as a paste from a
plastic syringe, directly into the horses mouth or in the form of
granules or as a liquid.
